Sam Loveman
My name is Samantha Loveman, and I am running again with Anna after a close race last year for the open Township Committee seat. Since my husband and I made Hainesport our home in 2017, we’ve been embraced by its warmth and opportunities, driving my eagerness to give back.
With a background in Environmental Studies from Temple University and currently pursuing an MBA at Rowan University, I’ve always been passionate about making a positive impact. My role as an Administrative Assistant at Camden County College has taught me the importance of communication, conflict resolution and collaboration, skills I’m ready to bring to the table. Additionally, I volunteer for the Hainesport Green Team and the Hainesport Democratic Committee, where I have had the opportunity to meet exceptional people and work collaboratively towards creating positive changes within our community.
As we witness the evolving landscape of Hainesport, let us ensure it is for the betterment of our community and residences. I believe that we can promote economic development, enhance community engagement, while preserving the natural beauty of Hainesport. With a collaborative approach and a commitment to transparency, I seek to ensure that the voices of all residents are heard and valued.
I am honored to serve as a candidate for the Hainesport Township Committee seat, and I pledge to serve with integrity and dedication, keeping a focus on the local issues rather than national politics or personal attacks. Hainesport isn’t simply a residence; it’s our cherished home. Let us honor and preserve what we have, while also embracing the potential for strategic growth and progress. Together, let’s seize the opportunities ahead and build an even stronger Hainesport for generations to come.
Anna Evans
I have lived in Hainesport, New Jersey, with my husband Keba for twenty-four years, ever since leaving England. Our daughters, Becky and Lorna, both went to Hainesport School K through 8th grade, then on to Rancocas Valley Regional High School, and later Penn State University.
In 2008 I graduated with an MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College, VT, adding to the Masters of Chemical Engineering I obtained as a young woman in London. I am currently the Vice-President of the Import Consultancy business my husband began in 2010, Global Bridge LLC, based in Hainesport. In addition, I teach English at Rowan College at Burlington County, as an Adjunct, and poetry at West Windsor Art Center. I am also a published poet and translator, whose books include Under Dark Waters (Able Muse Press, 2018), Sisters & Courtesans (White Violet Press, 2014) and The Selected Poems of Marceline Desbordes-Valmore (Barefoot Muse Press, 2013). I am the Board President of the non-profit Poetry by the Sea Conference.
I served four years on the Burlington County Women’s Advisory Board, and a three year term on the Board of Education for BCIT and BCSSSD.
A keen fitness enthusiast, I can regularly be found taking classes at Orange Theory in Moorestown, or walking our miniature schnauzer, Piper, around Hainesport’s District 3.
During my first three-year term serving the residents of Hainesport, I led the newly-formed Green Team to achieve Bronze Certification in the Sustainable Jersey Municipal Certification process, and I have improved transparency and communication for the residents. I am asking for your support in my re-election bid, and that you elect Sam Loveman alongside me, so that together we can create a more resident-oriented Hainesport.
